I’m a visual artist. Obsessed by details, with a sense for composition and imagination. I grew up and live in Olomouc, in the middle of Moravia in the Czech Republic. Historical sites around me helped me to form my point of view on art. My sense for composition is influenced by my father, a photographer.

Secondary school of applied art in Uhersk\u00e9 Hradi\u0161t\u011b<\/em> shaped my manual skills in shoe design and drawing skills in graphic design.

Desire to improve the drawing skills I had developed as a child led me to study film animation at Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ba\u0165a University in Zl\u00edn<\/em>. Animation combined my knowledge of composition and drawing and introduce me to filmmaking such as camera work, editing, and post-production.

After graduating, I worked for a year as an art director at an indie game studio (Soulbound Games<\/em>).

In 2015, I started freelancing (tobiaskucera.art<\/em><\/a>) as an independent artist focusing on digital visual and audio-visual production, turning my obsession with aesthetics and composition into my livelihood. In my profession, I focus on documentary photography and filmmaking, and graphic design. Together with my wife Tereza, I also do wedding photography (kucerovi.art<\/em><\/a>).

I look at inspiration in everyday life with my family and fascination with the activities of independent creative artists from a wide range of artistic fields. In my free time, I devote myself to choir conducting, sacred music, IT, computer and board games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
